The Lazio Region, in collaboration with Lazio Innova and with the support of Agro Camera, a special company of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, launched the Food Innovation Hub project in October 2019.
Two calls: "Improve your competitiveness" for companies interested in taking advantage of the Food Innovation Hub program and, in parallel, a search for partners "Make your skills available" who want to join the initiative by offering sponsorships of a technical nature or in the form of rewards.
The goal of the Food Innovation Hub is to support the processes of innovation and market diversification of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Lazio agri-food sector. Over 900 companies in the agri-food sector participated, divided into 43 Laboratories attributable to the following product categories:
• canned food;
• snack products, in particular from the cereal supply chain;
• dairy products and their substitutes;
• non alcoholic drinks and craft beers.
