Agricoltura sociale: mobilità rurale sostenibile e disabilità; il progetto MOBI.RU.D.
Social farming: sustainable rural mobility and disability; the MOBI.RU.D. project.
Construction, development and fine-tuning of a self-propelled vehicle with electric traction to facilitate the mobility of disabled people with reduced mobility in rural environments, at the same time giving the possibility to carry out agricultural work.
General objective: To favor the usability of rural environments, the insertion and re-employment of disabled people in the rural sites, through the creation and development of a self-propelled device (L6e class vehicle) with electric traction, aimed in particular at facilitating the mobility and safe work placement of operators who have lost the use of the lower limbs.

Dr. Mauro Pagano - Ph. D.
Researcher at the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics - Research Centre for Engineering and Agro-Food Processing (CREA). Graduated in Forestry Sciences at the department of Agriculture of the University of Tuscia in Viterbo; has obtained the qualification to practice the profession of Forestry Doctor and the certificate of Ph. D. in Agricultural Mechanics (s.s.d. Agr / 09). Former research collaborator at ISMA - Experimental Institute for Mechanization - Research Section for the mechanization of agricultural and forestry farmer. Currently as part of the activities envisaged by research and experimentation projects, it carries out technical-scientific coordination activities for the design, construction and development of prototypes and new mechanization lines and agroforestry equipment. Responsible for the final verification activities related to some proposals for innovative machinery and mechanization lines funded by ENAMA. Patent holder for industrial inventions and utility models. He is a member of the Italian Association of Agricultural Engineering (AIIA). He is the author and / or co-author of publications for scientific and informative purposes. Member of the scientific committee of CREA-IT.
