Robo&Bobo
ROBO&BOBO is a project by DEAR - Design Around, a Turin-based non-profit organisation. The project promotes literacy in the fields of design, creativity and new technologies, by implementing a series of workshops for adolescent and preadolescent (11-18 years old) cancer patients.
The program has been active in the Pediatric Oncohematology department of the Regina Margherita Children's Hospital in Turin since 2016. Starting from this year it will address the entire Piedmont area using digital channels.
To date 245 young people and more than 30 professionals have been involved in 457 labs.
DEAR Onlus
DEAR - Design Around is a non-profit organization that fosters the humanization of hospital environments. DEAR’s interventions focus on different dimensions including the physical space, the way in which this space is experienced, and, above all, the quality of the time spent there.
DEAR was born in 2016 from the idea of a group of professionals from various backgrounds - art, architecture and design, communication and fundraising, technology, anthropology, pedagogy and psychology - with the common goal of engaging in the humanization of care environments and promoting new research models in the field of cultural production.
