Altered Ego
Altered Ego is an A/V performance by artist duo APOTROPIA, Antonella Mignone and Cristiano Panepuccia, which explores the digital (de)materialization of human identity. How does the fundamental question "Who am I?" change in times of digitalization?
Symbolic masks accompany us throughout this audiovisual concert, in which the languages of video art and video dance intersect with those of electronic music and vjing.
APOTROPIA
APOTROPIA is an artist duo formed by Antonella Mignone and Cristiano Panepuccia. They work across video, dance, performance, sound and installation and explore the philosophical, anthropological and scientific elements of human culture.
APOTROPIA’s works have been exhibited internationally at Japan Media Arts Festival, Ars Electronica, BLOOOM Award, WRO Media Art Biennale, Share Festival, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Digiark - National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, FILE – Electronic Language International Festival, FutureFest Art Prize, Bienal de Arte Digital, Eurovideo, MIT Museum, Festival Internacional de la Imagen, among many others.
