A.R.G.O. 2.0 Assistente Robotico alla Giornata Ordinaria

A.R.G.O. is a domestic/industrial robot assistant, able to transport goods and follow targets, by recognizing the surrounding environment.
A.R.G.O. stands for "Robotic Assistant to an Ordinary Day". This is a medium-sized rover that, can be used both at home as a domestic assistant both in the industry as an assistant to the operators during work tasks.
Based on an home-made multiprocessor hardware, his main functionality is the “target following”.
A.R.G.O. can be also operate through a wi-fi connection, its video-stream can therefore always be viewed in a real-time network.
Its mechanic structure allows a considerable global burden of about 150 kg.
The speed is variable from 0 to 3 km / h.
The two motors are governed by a motor-shield with incorporated encoder inputs. The wheels are equipped with a micro-perforated and
interchangeable disk, this is for the installation of encoders.
The battery is deep cycle gel rechargeable.
Many ultrasonic and infrared sensors, one PIR sensor, one webcam and LEDs for night vision are main devices of the robot.
All the parameters can be adjusted by means of an on-board lcd panel, so the robot can be easily and properly settled to its daily tasks (home, industry, indoor, outdoor).
