We are an ICT Research Center based in Trento, Italy; the team that will participate to Maker Faire works on Research and Prototyping activities for the Internet of Things. We will bring in Rome some cool demonstrators we have realized/developed in the context of our research activities, such as, among others, an interactive lamp that changes colour based on social activities (twitter, instagram); a commercial robot made interactive via Internet and user’s smartphones.
Demo and technical solutions presented are the outcome of research activities and represent examples of usage of technological platforms we have developed.
In particular we will present the following projects:
- Raptorbox, a cloud platform for rapid prototyping of IoT connected solutions;
- AGILE: http://www.agile-project-iot.eu/ a modular gateway for IoT, based on open source and open hardware.
We will also introduce also our IoT Training offering, as part of our training and consulting activities.
