From the collaboration of six guys of the Mechatronic Technical Superior Institute of Vicenza (headquarters Treviso) was born the E­E­BIKE project, an electric off­road bike different from all the other. Pushed by a brushless motor of 1000 Watts and powered by a powerful lithium­ion battery pack, this bike is capable of running on any terrain. The frame, entirely designed and manufactured by us in our laboratories, is designed to ensure maximum resistance to stress. Inside the aluminum panels there are the batteries and the engine control system. An interface allow the driver to interact with the bike, see the charge level of the batteries, select the most suitable mapping for the situation in which lies and also show the speed and the path. It is also provided the creation of a device that allows to switch the motor into a generator during descents, so as to recover charge for the batteries even during the journey, increasing their autonomy. The bike can operate in two modes: with assisted pedal or with accelerator, just like a motorcycle.
