Onos: l'automazione casalinga intelligente economica ed alla portata di tutti
Onos is a project that allows anyone to install a home automation system without technical knowledge requirement, without rewiring the house and without the need to call an electrician.
The main core connects to the others modules by powerline technology or optionally by radio modules.
The system configuration needs only 15 minutes, after that you will be already able to control a powersocket from the web.
You can use onos from any devices that has a web browser, without the need to install any applications.
All the modules are based on arduino hardware and all the software is Open Source.

When i was 13 years old i saw a deagostini robot spot and then i started studying electronics by myself in order to build a similar robot.
I went to I.t.i.s. Alessandro Rossi and there i learn how to program the pic microcontroller.
For my final school project i build a robot controlled by internet (using apache webserver and a pic 16f876 microcontroller).
One day I tried a linux distribution in a live cd and then i started using only linux.
Since at that time pic microcontrollers could not been flashed under linux i started using Arduino.
Then the Onos project started.
