Powahome is a device that brings home automation in Italian homes, helping families to save energy reomote-controlling lights and sockets. Powahome can be easily installed in the existing electrical boxes and adds “smart” capabilities to existing switches and sockets. The device can also be used to operate and program motorized blinds and dimming systems. Powahome is programmable and retains memory and clock even after a black-out. The remote monitoring and programming is done using an app, which is customizable to suit your needs. The device has no batteries and can be used with all types of bulbs: incandescent, halogen, energy saving, neon and LED. Each device can control up to two switches and works with the wifi network at home without any additive control units. It works with any switch model installed in common rectangular electrical boxes. Does not replace the old switch but adds the functionality of remote control via smartphone or tablet. The device can integrate vocal control systems with existing house wiring.
