Bamboo Bici Lab
BambooBiciLab is the Italian project that provides the knowledge and tools to give the opportunity for anyone to create a customized bamboo bicycle, strong, sustainable and exclusive, following a simple and intuitive method for the construction of the frame. On request we organize practical workshops, usually at weekends, in fablabs, makerspaces, technical or cultural centres interested on hosting the event. It’s possible to design customized models for any type of bike. Participants share a unique experience of innovative handicraft and DIY.

Guglielmo Lisi
Guglielmo Lisi is a 30-year-old maker from Rome and he is one of the manager of the Roman fablab InnovationGym at FondazioneMondoDigitale for which he works. He discovered bamboo as structural material during university studies and then he deepened the studies of its remarkable physical and mechanical properties. BambooBiciLab is born from the union of his passion for this material with his passion for bicycles.
