PersonGene applies studies on the variability of drug response in relation to the genetic factors involved in the processes responsible for the pharmacokinetics and/or action mechanisms of a drug in the body.
We have now realized and released a pharmacogenetics test capable to optimize the initiation and maintenance dosing of immunosuppressive drugs, to attain faster its target concentrations and to limit its dose-related adverse reactions. This test is suitable in particular in kidney, liver and heart transplantation and provide high value easily interpretable information to the physician and to the patient at low cost boosting the precision medicine in the transplant field.
