This WIND TURBINE generator presents itself as an eco-sustainable solution for the production of domestic energy consumption.
The system has the peculiarity of being able to adjust the incidence of the blades according to the speed of the wind,this is a difficult implementation system in such compact installations.
There is also an analog control system for direction so that it can make the best use of wind power based on its direction.
The project has been widely analyzed in every respect, every element of the generator has been devised, designed, dimensioned and made entirely by our workgroup
At the base there is an in-depth planning of activities in which Scrum, Gantt and Pert methods are jointly used.
Every single activity was evaluated weighed and organized taking into account the time necessary for suppliers to carry out work on behalf of third parties, the coincidence between the arrival of the ordered components and deadlines.
The aerodynamic part has been thoroughly studied with regard to the shape of the blade profile so that you can use the maximum possible thrust even at low wind speed.
The blades were subsequently realized through a complex internal frame system, 3D printing and fiberglass.
With regard to the mechanical part, it was considered the realization of the rotor, the principle organ for the wind turbine, which required a high precision index for a perfect positioning of the blades. Moreover, we have been realized all structural components, from the outside cages to the support structure and the rudder in charge of the analogue hook.
The alternator hub required to turn wind energy into kinetic energy and then into electric power has been entirely realized by our team, it uses a disk to which N52 neodymium magnets are attached and held in place by a layer of epoxy resin. Also the coil, wiring and winding system has been cared for and built entirely by our technicians.
To allow the turbine to self-regulate the conversion of wind energy into electricity, a power board which houses all the devices suitable for carrying out management calculations, has been designed and realized. The generator produces a peak power of about 1000W at 230V voltage.
As far as the software is concerned, a specific program for the regulation of the blades has been conceived using basically a servomotor and the arduino board.
The collection and archiving of the data were followed in detail with the realization of an accurate report, a user and maintenance manual and a presentation video, software for rendering and digital animation has also been used to show the project in digital format.
