HOW IS IT MADE?

Egloo is composed by five elements: the base, the steel plate, the grill and the two domes.
The base offers a space for the positioning of the steel plate which is divided into two parts to facilitate the cleaning: one for the water and the other one which contains wax and wooden wicks that, once you light them, will warm the domes up. The two parts of the steel plate are connected by magnets.
There is a metal grill placed on the base, serving as a support for the domes. It makes a space to let the air in, necessary for the combustion of the wooden wicks.
Under the base, four felt disks allow to use Egloo on the most delicate surfaces, isolating it from the support area.
The base and the two domes are made by the best Italian artisans in “Terra da fiamma”, a particular type of terracotta that resists to higher temperatures.
The artisanal production will be completely MADE IN ITALY, using only the highest quality natural materials.

Egloo is even enlisting the help of the best Italian artists to give it some flair by adding their own painted designs to its dome. This adds an extra layer of customizability, allowing you to really make your Egloo uniquely tailored to your household look.

Whit Egloo limited edition we decided to bring Art in your homes.
We put together the work of Italian artisans and artists asking them to create their artistic versions of Egloo, then we selected them to offer you the best. Those Egloo are all hand-painted unique pieces, limited in number: in each packaging you'll receive a certificate of authenticity containing Artist's signature.
The aim is not only to give you a “good looking” exclusive design object but it responds to a deeper need. The idea behind our work is that “ Art is therapy ” . Art can produce beneficial effects both in those who do art and in those who receive it. “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls”.
