Soresa SpA - Regional Healthcare Company - is a region of Campania Region's instrumental organization aimed at implementing strategic actions aimed at rationalizing healthcare expenditure.
Soresa is a regional agency and aggregator subject to award public contracts and to conclude framework agreements for works, supplies and services for healthcare companies in the Campania Region, local authorities and other public administrations.
Soresa intervenes, inter alia, in the consolidation and recovery of the matured debtor of the regional healthcare system, as well as in the balance of current healthcare debt management.
Soresa assists and supports regional health service organizations in the field of business management and planning control in the technology, IT and logistics sectors.
It also promotes the adoption of business, organizational and management models, including on an experimental basis, aimed at efficiency, competitiveness and effectiveness in delivering healthcare and meeting the essential levels of care.
Soresa also carries out support measures for the Regional Health Information System. Specifically, it ensures the flow of information between the information and computer systems of healthcare companies.
To achieve unified governance of telematics infrastructures, digital services and ecosystems, enabling platforms and IT security, Soresa has designed and implemented the Health Management and Accounting Information System.
The system, under regime, will involve:
• full control of the flow of information,
• the availability of advanced centralized services,
• the unified regional database of suppliers of goods and services and contracts,
• management control.
In the European context, Soresa has an intense activity of sharing information, experiences and partnerships in the health sector with the Community institutions and the other regions of Europe.
In this respect, he joined the EHTEL network, is a member of ECHAlliance and participates in the publicity projects STOPandGO and ProEmpower.
In 2016, Soresa achieved the following results:
• banned tender procedures for the acquisition of goods and services for a value of more than € 850 million and earned savings of over € 110 million;
• Introduced a Dynamic Acquisition System (SDA) for the supply of medicines and emodies for the sanitary sanitation companies, for a value of 4.2 billion euros;
• Reduced to 32 average days of paying health bills.
