Tibic
Tibic is a system of sensors for soil monitoring, plant and environment, managed by the ESP32 hardware, designed for indoor or outdoor crops. The first box is a weather station composed of humidity,temperature sensors and hours of leaf wetness; the second box consists of a sensor to measure xilematic flow, an approximate indication of the state of health of the plant; a third box containing the sensor of humiditys, temperature, degree of fertilization and soil conductivity. The parameters can be monitored in order to ensure the proper irrigation and fertirrigation processes, leading to a saving of water quantity and fertilizers used.

We are a team of students from ITI "Enrico Fermi ", we combining chemical and biological skills with eletronics and computer sciences.
Our idea for a monitoring system stems from the desire to create a device that can be aviable alternative to those already present on the market, allowing to offer also predictive systems against diseases using open-source hardware.
At the beginning very few of our ideas have been transformed into relation and drafts of project on paper. Today that project has become reality and is called Tibic!
