NoVisLab
NoVisLab’s mission is to bring to the blind the videogames world.
That is how Dike is born: the first controller which, through a number of sensors, can capture the movements and gestures of the hand, returning audio and tactile feedbacks. Thus, the user will be able to interact and immerse himself into the virtual reality of the games created and collected in the platform that we are developing in collaboration with the UIC Polisportiva.
This synergy gave birth to a product able to bring emotions and fun to a share of the population which too often is forgotten form the video games market.

NoVisLab
NovisLab is born from the meeting of 4 designers and engineers which took place during the SEI Inventor workshop, organized and promoted by Fondazione Agnelli and Politecnico di Torino. The 4 share the same dream: to build a a new virtual world where graphics is neglected. This dream looks increasingly feasible thanks to the new horizons in the most immersive technologies which opened in last years, like haptic and tactile devices.
The workshop ended with an award for the team, giving in a workspace with state of the art technologies and a series of professional advice.
At present, the team enlarged up to becoming a cohesive group of 7 people with heterogeneous skills: Electronics, Computer Sciences, Design and Business are the main skills and formation courses of the team members.
