TOMMI - A Game To Feel Better
TOMMI is a digital experience provided in form of a VR game, designed in collaboration with doctors and psychologists to reduce children stress levels, anxiety and pain perception, involving also their parents in collaborative gaming sessions. At the same time TOMMI is also able to collect, analyze and provide meaningful data about patients psychomotor conditions that doctors can use to improve therapy efficiency. The final goal is to improve children adherence to therapy, making them more collaborative with doctors, speeding up hospital operations and productivity.

Softcare Studios is a digital health startup and our mission is to improve patients real therapy experience and adherence to therapy using virtual reality and artificial intelligence. We started in 2017 in Rome, our product TOMMI has been recognized by several International prizes and awards. We also went through 3 International accelerator programs: at Merck pharma company Innovation Center in Germany, at TMCx in the Texas Medical Center in Houston and now at Accelerace in Copenaghen. All this was possible thanks to our great team counting now 9 people whose experience covers accademic medical research, biomedical engineering, product and game design, software and VR development, 2D and 3D design and business innovation in digital health.
