Portable Carbon-Fibre 3D Printer

The 3D printer was designed to be as lightweight and portable as possible, without sacrificing the bed space required to print larger, more complex creations. It features a low profile printing assembly, with a bed that can be removed and reattached quickly using powerful magnets that ensure no loss to calibration and allow for the assembly to be easily transported.
The main structure of the printer is made from carbon-fibre, giving it high strength and preventing calibration losses over time due to warping or fatigue; it also prevents damage during transport. The printer can communicate via USB and be powered by the mains, but it can also be powered via a battery and loaded using a SD to maximise portability.
