Sviluppo di sensori innovativi basati su quantum dot colloidali
Colloidal quantum dots are semiconductor nanoparticles synthesized and suspended in solution. Thanks to the relatively simple engineering of the optical and electronic properties, it is possible to fabricate a wide range of electronic and optoelectronic devices while the surface functionalization allows the realization of different types of sensors. This project aims at the realization and integration of these sensors with silicon electronics for the detection of toxic and/or polluting gases.
