Rocker-Tubie
This project stems from the need to create a modular rover with a sturdy, economical, and environmentally friendly load bearing structure, which could reuse the disused elements used in hydraulic pipes.
The project foresees the realization of the only fittings necessary for the assembly of the chassis and the payload section which are printed in 3D with the common filaments in PLA or ABS.
Equipped with a rocker arm suspension system with six independent wheels and as many brush motors it can withstand loads up to 30 kg in the version with PLA molded fittings. The electronics are managed by microcontrollers Arduino Mega 2560, the driver of the motors is a double channel DHB-12V for a max of 50A with bridge H.
