Prodotti bio-based per una vita migliore
This project wants to communicate the relevance of agro-biodiversity, for the development of new agro-industrial opportunities, from traditional knowledge to innovation. Various plant species (artichoke, cardoon, nuts, prickly pear, buckwheat and edible wild plants) will be illustrated to show crops multi-functionality. A wide variety of bioactive molecules (antioxidants, fatty acids and fiber) in natural or processed products, have been a precious source of universal remedies. In a modern vision of bio-economy and circular economy, these bioproducts can be enhanced in nutraceuticals, cosmetics and bioenergy, thanks to their multiple properties.
