Silvia Rossi is assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies of the University of Naples Federico II since March 2009. She is currently the chief manager of the PRISCA (Intelligent Robotics and Advanced Cognitive System Projects) lab. She received the M.Sc. degree in Physics from University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 2001, and the Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2006. During her career, she was research assistant at the Division on Cognitive and Communication Technologies - ITC-irst (Italy), and at the institute of Cybernetics E. Caianiello - National Research Council (Italy), and visiting researcher at the Center for Human-Computer Communication - Oregon Health and Science University, Oregon (USA). She was in the program/organization committee of several international conferences on Human-robot interaction and Multi-agent Systems. She is Associate Editor for IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L) and for Intelligent Service Robotics journal.
