VDI-1 "Vittorazi Digital Instrument"
VDI-1 "Vittorazi Digital Instrument" device for monitoring and recording parameters of paramotor motors. It increases the reliability and safety of the flight. Its usefulness is both in flight, giving signals in real time, and on the ground for maintenance. It consists of a microcontroller system capable of measuring critical engine temperatures and the number of revolutions. It also records the flight hours. It is equipped with a radio interface to connect to a smartphone and a graphic display that the pilot can fix on his wrist to easily view the data during flight

L’autore del progetto è un gruppo di studenti del 1° anno del corso ITS della sede di Ancona della Fondazione ITS Recanati, coordinati da due docenti. Gli studenti, hanno frequentato istituti e scuole superiori di diversi indirizzi. Sono tutti accumunati dalla curiosità e dall’entusiasmo verso l’innovazione.
