SKY TO JOIN THE MAKER FAIRE IN ROME
Sky will be present at the Maker Faire in Rome to take us to the heart of the Arctic, to the Svalbard islands through a 360-degree experience and inside the Sky Sports studios in Virtual Reality.
At the Opening Event on Friday, October 12, Sky TG24 journalist Daniele Moretti will present the documentary "Un mare da salvare – Lo Stato dell’Artico” (The State of the Arctic), developed with the use of 360-degree cameras. The project is part of the "Sky Ocean Rescue Campaign” ("Sky Un mare da salvare” in the Italian version) launched by the Sky group at an international level to raise awareness on marine pollution from microplastics and promote the culture of caring for our ocean. From Friday October 12 to October 14, Maker Faire visitors will also be able to see the Sky corner and virtually enter Sky Sport studios to understand how VR viewers have helped design the Champions League and Europa League studios. At the Sky corner, they will also be able to enjoy a 360-degree experience through the Sky TG24 report by Daniele Moretti that will take them to the Svalbard islands, where the effects of global warming are more evident.
