Nextome works using the smartphone sensors (Bluetooth, but also accelerometer and gyroscope). It catches the signals of the beacons in the environment and applying physical models and artificial intelligence algorithms calculate the position of the user’s smartphone. All the calculation is performed on the smartphone, so Nextome doesn’t need a powerful infrastructure or a continuous internet connection for the localization.
