Goliath is a computer numerical control (CNC) portable machine tool, to mill, cut or engrave flat surfaces. The innovation is in the process: the traditional logic of a CNC machines it’s reversed, because Goliath can be positioned directly on the surface, where it works moving autonomously. This new method solves many problems of the traditional CNC machines, as limited work area, high footprint, expensive price and portability, and makes Goliath the only autonomous CNC machine tool for manufacturing boundless, anywhere.

Springa designs and develops Goliath, the autonomous machine tool to engrave and cut anywhere, boundless. The innovative way of working solves few problems of traditional CNC machines like the limited work area, high footprint, expensive price and portability. Today the company is developing Goliath, the autonomous machine tool to engrave and cut anywhere, boundless. The company was founded by Lorenzo Frangi, Alessandro Trifoni and Davide Cevoli, with the shareholding of the Politecnico di Milano through Polihub. Springa is also registered as Spinoff of the Politecnico di Milano.
