Individual Animal Recognition to Reduce Antibiotics Usage
Serket is a software company. Our recognition software helps farmers to monitor and trace their pigs individually and automatically with any cameras. It solves the animal health and/or food safety concerns with a technology that is already available and used in other industries. Without Serket, farmers would have to use smart tagging, which is cost prohibitive for the majority.
We are a close-knit group and we already participated together in the Philips Innovation Award. Serket won us the Rockstart AI program, took 2nd place for the Nutreco Agrivision Contest with the idea, and we are currently participating in the Startupbootcamp FoodTech Program (won it). We also have a signed collaboration with the Wageningen University & Research, and plans are in motion to do a collaboration with the Kaposvar University.
