Specchi d'Acqua - Olimpiadi di Robotica 2019
Climate change is impacting water environments: these changes need to be monitored.
The drones we built are inexpensive and easy to replicate. They work as a sensor newtork.
Each drone's made with plastic bottles for floating. There's a custom 3-D printed enclosure for the electronics, namely a GPS module and a few sensors, and the driving's controlled via an android app.
The drones interact with a Raspberry PI station, which gathers all the information and then forwards it to our website.
The project's plans are fully available on GitHub (look for NidasioAlberto) for everyone to use and improve.

Matteo Cristini, Alberto Nidasio
Hi there! We're Matteo Cristini and Alberto Nidasio.
We're 19 and 18 yo students from Crema, Italy, who happen to just love tech, and to be studying IT and Electronics.
We've been developing robots together for a while now, though we enjoy everything electronic: networking, home automation, even building synthesizers from scratch and 3D printed drones. We hope you'll enjoy our stuff too, and don't forget to have fun!
