EARTHQUAKE DETECTOR IN REAL TIME
Our seismograph is able to track and send all the data in real time from the accelerometer to the microcontroller Genuine Arduino MKR 1000 wifi. Collecting the data about the vibrations gathered by the powerful Adafruit ADXL345 accelerometer has been done continuously and automatically. The collected data readings are sent to the Internet through always active Blynk server ( http://blynk2.croatianmakers.hr ), of the Institute for Youth Development and Innovativity (IRIM) and a mobile wireless Internet router (Generation Next/ Gimnazija Vukovar) which was donated to the school through the project. Along with all the information mentioned above, we defined the parameters of detection easily adaptive to any situation we could encounter. If the seismograph detects the vibration more powereful from the one that is set, several actions will occur simultaneously. Immediately as the vibrations are detected, the microcontroller activates the LED RGB lightning by blinking warning red lights accompanied by acustic buzzer sound. Shortly after the alarm was triggered, all the devices connected to the Blynk server ( http://blynk2.croatianmakers.hr ), will receive a message about the possible Earthqauke. Although, if the message was not received, the seismograph by itself using the Iot technology sends the message to the entire World through the Twitter account created especially for this project under the account name: „Generacija Next Vu“ (@next_vu). All the data collected would be useless unless they are easily accessable by using Blynk which stores all the information in the cloud for the last three months of recording.
