PATTERN YOUR LIFE

Pattern Your Life is the project that brings together around 200 experiments in the field of digital fabrication and that involved as many designers and a dozen companies and FabLabs and makerspaces.
Pattern Your Life is an idea by Rossella Siani, architect, Ph.D. and lecturer at the DiARC of the Federico II University of Naples; the experience was born in the academic field and continues with the involvement of various fablabs and companies such as FabLab Naples, Hub Makerspase, Medaarch, Mnemosyne3D, De Artis Digital, Propiù, The Spark Creative Hub, 3D Italy, Tyche, Fabrika, Naploli Lovemark from various parts of Campania, to these are added Vactorealism from Milan and FabFacrory from Rome and finally D-Shape for architectural 3D printing.

VAHA - Virtual Architetture Handicraft Art

Rossella Siani is an architect with primary interests in digital fabrication and parametric design. A PhD in Architectural Technology, she is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Naples Federico II and is the associate editor of the international scientific journal SMC (Sustainable Mediterranean Construction).
She is co-founder and creative director of architecture programming for BACAS (Borghi Artichi Cultura Arti Scienze).
Rossella’s work has transcended the strict confines of the “architecture” field and has expanded into inter-disciplinary channels of design and systems analysis, often taking the forms of innovative furniture, systemic installations and cross-genre work. Rossella is the author of several scientific articles in prestigious journals and international conferences.
She is currently working on the VAHA project, to enhance the digital fabrication: www.vaha.it.
