Pianeti in una stanza
Planets in a room is a DIY low-cost kit to build a small, spherical projector to show and teach the planets and the stars in a classroom or in an educational exhibit. The projector uses 3d printing technologies and other off the shelf, low-cost pieces. It was funded by the Europlanet Outreach Funding Scheme and its distribution to the public started in September 2018. Planets in a room is a project by the non profit association Speak Science, in collaboration with INAF-IAPS, the Roma Tre University (Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica), AstronomiAmo and 2be3D.
