Laboratorio Trasporti Roma Tre: tra tecnologia e innovazione
The project shows the technologies of the transport laboratory of the Department of Engineering, Roma Tre University. Instruments for tracking, tracing and classifying vehicular and pedestrian flows such as Radar and laser systems, GPS, optical cameras, drones will be exhibited. The technologies will be illustrated as well as the ongoing and future experiments involving their adoption.

The Transport laboratory of the Department of Engineering, Roma Tre University has experience in the field of traffic and transportation infrastructure, focusing on traffic modelling, road safety and ITS. It is involved in research projects with national and international partners as well as in several studies conducted on behalf of private and public entities.

Stefano Carrese is full professor at the Department of Engineering, Roma Tre University. Since 2014, he is rector’s delegate for sustainable mobility at the Roma Tre University. His current research interest includes mainly sharing mobility and Sustainable transportation Systems.
