Eyeglasses with facial recognition for Visual impairment.

The project consists in a glasses for visually impaired with the objective of aid the user's displacement, giving a better independence and walking safety, thereby ensuring the right to come and go.
The prototype has a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ as the brain, using a high resolution 4.0 camera to make facial and object recognition.
Plus the camera, the project has ultrasonic sensor to detect objects. That feature tells the user by audio the distance to the nearest object, if an impact is about to happen the glasses will trigger a buzzer and start vibrating as the user get closer to the impact.
The main code is written using Python 3,with future goal to implement Artifical Inteligence also using Python. With the success of this implementation, the system will no longer require manual registration of persons and objects to be detected, the Artifical Inteligence will do all the work on its own by searching in the internet the matching object the camera is seeing. Also will be implemented an IOT system for continuous information exchange between the glasses, the internet and the caregivers such as localization and fall risks.
