DIY compressor-based Cloud Chamber particle detector
This project is the evolution of our previous TEC-based (Peltier Cells) cloud chamber (secondary refrigeration circuit with compressor-based aquarium coolers). In this new edition 2019, a new simplified version suited for low-cost DIY is added to the previous chamber, that had control and operation managed by an Arduino board with temperature sensors and a relays shield (the software and all designs are Open Source). Our goal is to provide a fully-documented project for the building of such a wonderful type of particle detector by schools and groups of amateurs.
