Collaborative Robotic Hand for Industrial Applications
qbrobotics designed a new advanced anthropomorphic robotic hand based on soft-robotics technology (qb SoftHand Industry) for industrial tasks.
The device is an end-effector for colaborative robots (co-bots) suitable for: testing tasks and quality inspection, randomly picking and pick-and-place, complex handling and assembly.
The device is compliant with the standards and certifications of industrial and collaborative robotics and is compatible with all main robots and cobots on the market.
The aim of the project is to propose to the industrial sector an innovative end-effector, plug-and-play and simple to control able to replicate the human hand movement thanks to a tendon-driven system and to a single-motor actuation.
Furthermore, the soft-robotics technology allows the Hand to interact with the surrounding environment, objects, and humans, while limiting the risk of hurting the operators, spoiling the products to be handled, or the cobot itself.
