Laboratorio MERLIN - Politecnico di Milano – DEIB
The project shows an assembly application with a collaborative robot (YuMi of ABB) in which artificial intelligence algorithms developed by Politecnico di Milano are used, to perceive the operator, predict his/her intention and command the robot accordingly. The recognition of the operation by the system allows the operator to show the relevant assembly instructions via augmented reality. The cognitive vision device is produced by Smart Robots (spin off of Politecnico di Milano).
