Autonomous robotics and precision farming
The project will illustrate, both an educational and research level, modern technologies for driverless robots, moving in a city-like environment.
The framework recall the duckietown idea, developed at MIT and now widespread over the world. Simple mobile robots move along roads, using as a sensor a simple monocular camera.
The project will also illustrate the application of robotics and computer vision to precision farming, with specific attention to fruit detection and yield forecasting.
