Wiz-Compactor - (ITS4.0)
The aim of the project is to optimize the separate collection of plastics always associated with very large volumes, which therefore causes frequent discharges from the homes and collection steps by the disposal companies. We want to fill a gap in the market, where there are compactors that are manual and ineffective for domestic use, while those intended for professional use are valid but very expensive. The prototype uses an electric actuator, it can have different values of useful volume, it can be powered by a solar panel, it has sensors and a radio connection to signal the filling

The author of the project is a group of students of the 1st year of the ITS course " Tecnico superiore verso l'Industry 4.0" of the Ancona office of the “Fondazione ITS Recanati”, coordinated by a teacher. The students have different ages and come from institutions, high schools of different addresses and work experiences. They are all united by curiosity and enthusiasm for innovation.
