Smart Packaging designed for all (ITS 4.0)
New technologies help to ensure the improvement of information through the development of smart packaging solutions and to design "talking" packaging for all types of users, with specific age-related, different skills (design for all). In collaboration with Roncadin SPA -Meduno (PN), innovative solutions have been analyzed and developed to make talking packaging through 4.0 technologies and provide consumers with access to clear and transparent information about the product, food traceability . ingredients, nutritional information, storage and cooking methods, through the use of augmented reality.

The "Fondazione Istituto Tecnico Superiore nuove tecnologie per il made in Italy, indirizzo per l’industria meccanica e aeronautica" was officially established on September 15, 2010. Its non-profit aim is to contribute to the dissemination of technical and scientific culture and support systematically measures for economic development and competitiveness of the production system. The Higher Technical Institute - ITS - has its official and operational headquarters at the IS.S.I.S. "TO. Malignani ”in Udine.
TARGETS
The main objective of the ITS Foundation is to train professional technical figures at post-secondary level who respond to the needs of the world of work and can find an immediate place in the sector of reference. At the same pace, interest in supporting the integration of education, training and work systems is traveling to encourage the transfer of technological innovation to small and medium enterprises.
