ESA/ESRIN - European Space Agency
ESRIN, the Italian establishment of ESA, has an important role in the Agency’s Earth Observation (EO) activities, developing and operating the Ground Segment of the Sentinel satellites of the Copernicus Programme, the largest EO Programme in the world.
Since 2017, ESRIN is home to the Φ-Lab, aiming at accelerating the uptake of disruptive technologies in EO. The Φ-Lab is mainly dedicated to AI techniques and how they can be applied to EO, while other domains of interest are Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) and Blockchain.
The stand will showcase some of the ongoing activities at ESRIN, in particular in the Φ-Lab. The main attraction will be a Virtual Reality installation.
