What we already thought would be a fun trip turned out to be so much more: the love and enthusiasm of the exhibitors, attendees and Maker Faire Rome’s team for innovation, education, and general celebration of the maker movement was awe-inspiring. There is so much to see that a single year in attendance is not enough, so if you ever get the opportunity, head to this show, soak in the sea of inventions, and make some great friends along the way.

ROBOT MARINO – un edurobot a scuola
ROBOT MARINO is a project developed by the students of IC Antonio Sebastiani of Minturno and consists of an educational robot to be assembled and easily programmable. It adopts standard and affordable electronic components. Some components are obtained by 3D printing. The project is didactically innovative and relevant because it is carried out by pupils aged between 11 and 13 motivated by the teacher through the PBL (Project Based Learning) methodology. The programming of the Arduino UNO board takes place in visual mode in a Scratch derivation environment.
TecnoTeam IC A. Sebastiani – Minturno
TecnoTeam is made up of boys and girls from the IC A. Sebastiani of Minturno - Spigno Saturnia who are passionate about computer science, robotics, electronics and making. TecnoTeam operates in educational activities and projects ranging from coding to physical computing, passing through electronics and educational robotics. TecnoTeam was born in the 2018-19 school year and is renewed annually with the entry of new students into the Institute. Today the home of the TecnoTeam is mainly the STEMLab, an innovative environment / laboratory where children unleash their creativity by venturing into the field of digital, making and programming.
