Maker Faire Rome has always been one of my favorite shows. It brings makers, hobbyists and enthusiasts of all ages and genres together in one place. The ability to show the newest technology and the coolest STEM products is something that can’t be done to this caliber anywhere else. We at DigiKey are lucky to be a part of this great maker event.

ECOBOAT "ACERBO VIKING"
Ecoboat Race is an educational project for high schools and involves education and entertainment, through game and sport competition. It aims at an active participation of the young generation in the improvement of a better quality of our lands. Each school team ( minimum 8 students with teachers as tutors) has to plan and build an eco-boat,only using recycled materials (plastics, timber etc) following their creativity, sharing group-work and entrepreneurship. The best and last part is to float in the water in the most ecological and craziest eco-race in the (Adriatic) Sea!

Il Team "Acerbo Viking" composto da un'eco-ciurma di 12 studenti e studentesse che hanno frequentato il quarto anno dell'indirizzo Turismo e Sistemi Informativi Aziendali, coadiuvati dai loro docenti nell'ideazione, progettazione, realizzazione e comunicazione del loro output sostenibile: una eco-zattera che si ispira alle navi dei Vichinghi per la forma e per lo spirito pionieristico.
