HANNAH FACE MASK CONTROL INSPECTION
Hannah is a system for handling facial masks for packaging and detecting their integrity. Thanks to deep learning algorithms, the vision system allows you to identify any defects, such as the absence of laces or incorrect seams. Then, according to the results of integrity control of the vision system, the robotic arm is activated. It moves the facial masks for packaging and, thanks to sensors, checks the presence of the wires.
The use of vision systems based on deep learning represents an innovative feature of the project, which allowed prototyping quickly.
ITS TIRRENO DI FUSCALDO(CS)
Istituto Tecnico Superiore (ITS) Tirreno - New Technologies of Life - is a Higher Technical Institute created in 2012. It offers a 2-year single-cycle higher education for highly qualified technicians in four sectors:
Production and maintenance of biomedical equipment and devices
Industrial and environmental biotechnology
Production and maintenance of means of transport and / or related infrastructures
Innovative management of tourist facilities - accommodation facilities and cultural activities
Digital educational and assessment materials are available for each course on the Foundation's E-learning Platform. Each student, with personalized access, can use the published materials. Learning activities are enhanced by a web-conferencing system for distance learning, online seminars and conferences. The selected teachers must attend a training course, after which they are subjected to an assessment test of their competence on the course topics. 50% of teachers must be chosen from the world of work; some come from academia. The project was conceived and coordinated by the teachers:
