Prof. Salvatore Rampone and Gruppo di Metodi COmputazionali e Modellistica - GiMCOM Soft Computing Lab
The Soft Computing and Modelling Method Group (GiMCOM) of Università del Sannio, headed by prof. Salvatore Rampone, has been operating for many years in the soft computing area applied in several fields (Aerospace, Bioinformatics, Botany, Computer music, Cosmology, Environment, Geoinformatics, Signal Processing, Telecommunication) with special reference on Predictive analytics. The group is characterized by a strong interdisciplinarity. In fact, due to their strong learning and cognitive ability and good tolerance of uncertainty and imprecision, soft computing techniques have found wide applications.
