LongITools healthcare assessment system

LongITools is the result of a research project within the Horizon 2020 program that studies the interactions among environment, lifestyle and health. In particular, the aim is to study how these interactions influence the risk of developing chronic cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
LongITools aims to lead the way in real-life applications to research results. The system consists of four components:



  • A web application

  • A mobile application

  • A smart band wearable on the wrist

  • A sensor hub to assess air quality

The Research Group Author of the project is coordinated by Vincenzo Atella, Full Professor of Economics. The group also consists of Andrea Piano Mortari, Karim Lekadir, Maria Bulgheroni, Stefano Parusso, Valentina Simonetti. Expertise ranges from economics, mathematics, artificial intelligence, electronic engineering and medicine
