WAT - Wooden Aluminum eTRIKE
Electric tricycle oriented towards a new type of urban mobility, simple in design, ecological, made with recyclable materials like wood and aluminum, different from those usually in use; among other technical features we have the possibility of a setting wheelbase and track or even the inclination and distance of the handlebar. It has a single rear wheel drive and can also be supplied in a kit version that can be assembled with just a few tools. The other important feature is that the bodywork can assume the desired shape as the thermoformable covering material follows the lines imposed by the profiles of the wooden crossbars that make up the chassis itself. As part of the event, two bodywork proposals rendering are presented that can be created through thermoforming or 3D printing with polymeric materials.
Carlo Galli
My professional experience has always developed in the field of industrial and civil mechanical design for engineering companies; even the activity of self-employed professional has had a significant importance in terms of experience.
In the automotive field I had various working experiences in the microcar sector for an Italian company, now no longer in business, collaborating in the design and executive drawing of chassis and in the homologation procedures. I am still cooperating in the design of mechanical components of an electric single-seater track vehicle for a company in the United Kingdom. On the occasion of the event, some projects created over the years will be presented, including a three-wheeled tilting vehicle (gtev) also represented by a radio-controlled "laboratory" model created for dynamics tests and a proposal for a training program for young students, and not only, on the topic of electric mobility by presenting a training vehicle to be assembled to participate in sporting events.
