Team ISAAC @ PoliTo
Our project aims to build a modular robot capable of dynamically transitioning between two operational modes: robotic arm and creeping robot, for search and rescue operations.
The modular design offers adaptability to various needs, with specialized modules equipped with different sensors. The two configurations provide the robot with increased agility in movements and the ability to partially lift vertically.
Our current prototype is Rese.Q Mk1, and Rese.Q Mk2 represents the next evolution, building upon the strengths and addressing the critical issues of its predecessor.
Team ISAAC
ISAAC is a student team from the Polytechnic University of Turin, comprising students from diverse backgrounds. The team has three main goals: to train students, enabling them to enhance their practical technical skills; to develop socially impactful robots; and to participate in promotional and disclosure events within the robotics field.
The team's primary focus lies in the development of innovative and efficient robots for Search and Rescue (SAR) activities to contribute to the advancement of technology in life-saving operations.
