"Parete di Genere 2.0" (“Gender Wall”) is the sporting event that AiCS dedicates to raising awareness against gender violence. Having reached its second edition in 2023, it consists of a national padel event organized as a flash mob: from 10 am on November 25th, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Gender Violence, simultaneously on all fields of AiCS padel participating in the initiative (around 20 in all of Italy in 2023), mixed couples will meet to play and discuss sport as a lever for inclusion with experts and judges, within the framework of the protocol signed with the National Association of Magistrates in February 2023.
AiCS - Associazione italiana Cultura e Sport
AiCS - Associazione italiana Cultura e Sport (Italian Sport and Culture Association) - was founded in 1962. It is a non-profit, sport promotion and social promotion association, and it is recognized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies as an associative network. It is chaired by Bruno Molea.
Present throughout Italy with 120 provincial committees and 20 regional committees, with over 1 million members and around 10 thousand affiliated associations, AiCS is today among the major sports promotion bodies recognized by CONI, and among the major Paralympic sports promotion bodies recognized from Cip: organizes and promotes basic sporting activities for all age groups and promotes social inclusion through sport and culture, using them as social policy tools.
Over the years it has progressively extended its range of action to solidarity, social policies, the Third Sector, social tourism, the environment and training. It has an agreement with the Ministry of Justice for activities to prevent youth hardship and social reintegration.
