Proxima Robotics s.r.l.
In the era of Industry 4.0 and IoT, where it is taken for granted that different devices within companies are interconnected, it is essential that there is perfect synergy and inherent efficiency in production. While the former can be achieved by managing information in a holistic and standardized manner, the latter translates into waste and cost reduction. In particular, most of the waste within a production facility does not lie in the actual processing, but rather in the slaving and storage operations, which bring little or no added value.
With respect to these activities, in today's market, B2B manufacturing companies often provide turnkey solutions: the actual machinery is often attached to an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) used precisely for product servicing and/or storage. Often, however, integration between AMR and machinery or (worse) between different AMRs is difficult, onerous (in terms of time and cost) if not impossible, making it impossible to achieve synergy and efficiency.
That's where Proxima Robotics comes in, which with its modular and adaptable software platform offers robot service providers a complete software stack for their robot-from motor drivers to managing the fleet of different mobile robots and interconnecting them with other machines and devices.
