Ontology-based Data Management uses semantic technologies and representation and automatic reasoning techniques over knowledge bases to allow access, integration, and data quality checking, in the context of the governance of data, meta-data, services, and processes in modern information systems. Thanks to advanced tools and know-how, this paradigm proposes itself as a solution for enterprises in handling data governance issues and in the production of dataset that are compliant with the five stars of Open Data (Linked Open Data).
OBDA Systems
OBDA Systems is a startup of Sapienza University of Rome which proposes state-of-the-art solutions based on the most recent breakthroughs in semantic technologies and AI for managing enterprise data. In an era of exponential data growth, solutions for efficient data management and for information sharing among third parties are key for maintaining a competitive advantage. OBDA Systems supports organisations in dealing with data challenges through tools and methodologies for data querying, integrating, and quality checking based on the groundbreaking Ontology-based Data Management technology.
